Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DropSupport, an AI-powered customer support automation service operated by Meridian Studio ("we", "us", "our"). By using DropSupport, you agree to these Terms.

Service Description

DropSupport provides AI-powered automation for customer support operations for Shopify stores. Our service classifies incoming support tickets, generates draft responses, and provides order context to help you resolve customer inquiries faster.

Account Terms

  • Shopify Store Required: You must have an active Shopify store to use DropSupport.
  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
  • One Account Per Store: Each Shopify store should have one DropSupport account.
  • Accurate Information: You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use DropSupport to send spam, unsolicited marketing, or abusive messages to customers
  • Process data you do not have legal rights to use (e.g., customer data from other businesses)
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the AI models or algorithms
  • Exceed reasonable usage limits or attempt to overload our infrastructure
  • Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity

AI-Generated Content

  • Drafts Only: AI-generated responses are drafts, not final answers. You must review and approve all responses before sending.
  • No Guarantee of Accuracy: AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated responses.
  • Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content of messages sent to your customers, even if generated by our AI.
  • No Liability: We are not liable for any consequences arising from AI-generated content sent to your customers.

Data & Privacy

  • See our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.
  • You grant us a license to process your data (emails, Shopify data, etc.) solely for the purpose of providing the service.
  • You retain full ownership of your data. We do not claim ownership of your customer data, emails, or store information.

Shopify Integration

  • We access your Shopify store data via the official Shopify API with your explicit consent.
  • We request read-only access to orders, customers, and products. We never modify your store data.
  • You can revoke our access to your Shopify store at any time from your DropSupport settings or Shopify Admin.
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share Shopify data with DropSupport under applicable laws and Shopify's terms.

Service Availability

  • We aim for high uptime and reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the service.
  • We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice when possible.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
  • We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or interruptions to the service.

Limitation of Liability

  • As-Is Service: DropSupport is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • No Indirect Damages: We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
  • Maximum Liability: Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • AI Errors: We are not liable for errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate content in AI-generated responses.

Termination

  • By You: You may terminate your account at any time from your settings.
  • By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms or for any reason with reasonable notice.
  • Data Deletion: Upon termination, we will delete your data within 30 days unless required to retain it by law.
  • Survival: Provisions related to liability, indemnity, and data ownership survive termination.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of India.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
